The constellations do not exist by accident — each golden mark is placed with intention, tracing a quiet astronomy across the porcelain. A reminder that even in darkness, there is pattern, rhythm, and the gentle order of the cosmos.

The coachline — hand-painted using gold of uncompromising purity — frames the night with a single disciplined gesture. One uninterrupted motion, steady and controlled, honouring the maker’s focus with every millimetre.

Each Oudism ashtray starts with a porcelain blend refined for purity and strength. The clay is cast and gently hand-finished, ensuring each edge and contour is impeccably smooth.

The piece enters a high-temperature kiln—exceeding 1,300°C—to achieve a delicate porcelain body that feels both feather-light and unmistakably substantial.

Over this form, a custom deep glaze is applied: enriched with tone, fine in reflection, and remarkable in its tactile subtlety. Designs—whether gilded lines, geometric patterns, or botanical motifs—are layered in featherweight strokes of gold, platinum, or hand-mixed ink. Each layer undergoes a secondary low-fire treatment to fuse the decoration seamlessly to the porcelain.

The final result is a piece that balances weight and lightness, ceremony and simplicity: made to cradle ritual, yet stunning enough to display.
